The challenge
Kingdom Builders, led by owner Ryan Felix, does quality deck and fence work in Topeka, but the business ran almost entirely on word of mouth. That capped growth at about $30,000 in income across a full year, roughly $2,500 a month. The Google Business Profile wasn't optimized (the physical location still had to be verified before it could rank), the website was due for a full rebuild, and if a homeowner searched "deck builder" or "fence company" in Topeka, Kingdom Builders didn't show up. There were few to no reviews working in their favor.
Our approach
- 01 Verified the physical location and rebuilt the Google Business Profile so it could actually rank in the Map Pack.
- 02 Targeted the searches Topeka homeowners actually use, like "deck builder Topeka KS" and "fence company Topeka KS."
- 03 Ran a citation campaign listing the business consistently across 60+ directories.
- 04 Rebuilt the website from scratch into a fast, search-ready site built to convert visitors into leads.
- 05 Deployed our Speed-To-Lead system so every call and lead is captured and worked fast.
- 06 Kicked off review generation, which started landing new Google reviews within weeks.
Fix the foundation first
Nothing ranks on a broken profile. We verified and optimized the Google Business Profile before anything else, then built the rest of the local presence on top of it.
Capture every lead
A fast, conversion-focused website plus our Speed-To-Lead system meant new demand turned into booked jobs instead of missed calls.
Compound trust
Consistent citations and a steady flow of new reviews lifted both rankings and close rates at the same time, which is how a quiet word-of-mouth business becomes the top local result.
The outcome
Within about three months of the March 2026 launch, Kingdom Builders had its biggest month ever: roughly $129,000 in income in a single month, against a prior full year of about $30,000. That one month was about 4.3× the entire previous year and roughly 50× the old monthly average, driven by a verified profile, a rebuilt site, Speed-To-Lead, and a steady stream of reviews all compounding at once. The business now ranks #1 for many search terms across the Topeka area.
The proof

How homeowners choose a contractor
Remodels, additions, and full builds are high-consideration purchases. Homeowners research for weeks, shortlist a few firms, and judge each one on proof of past work before they ever request a quote.
- Most homeowners begin a remodeling project with an online search and a review of recent project photos before contacting anyone.
- Because project values are high, buyers compare multiple contractors and favor the ones whose portfolio and reviews look most credible.
- Contractor sales cycles often run several months, so leads that aren't nurtured after the first contact are frequently lost.
